Step

Discovering Your Options
|
|
Step 1: Parent contacts First Step at (501) 624-6468, to
set up an appointment.
Step 2: An interview is scheduled with the parents and/or
guardians to discuss what type of developmental concerns
they have about their child. Parents are informed of the
process for admission and that evaluation orders are
needed from their Primary Care Physician.
Step 3: First Step generates the evaluation orders and
sends them to the clinic. We also request a copy of
child's epsdt & immunization records from the clinic.
Step 4: After all required items are received, placement
is assigned then referral/intake conference is scheduled.
